Oyenuga Ramota Adedoyin (ACA, MBA) is a distinguished accounting professional and a dedicated member of the non-academic community at the University of Lagos.
With over two decades of expertise in financial management, accounting, and cooperative studies, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation in her field.
Mrs. Oyenuga holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, where she graduated with a Second Class Upper Division in 1998.
Her academic achievements laid the foundation for a thriving career in the financial sector. In 2018, she became an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), affirming her expertise in the accounting profession and her commitment to professional development.
Currently serving as the Chief Accountant and Head of the Account Office at the Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) of the University of Lagos, Mrs. Oyenuga plays a pivotal role in managing the Centre’s financial operations. In this capacity, she oversees budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and resource optimization, ensuring the Centre’s financial health aligns with its operational and strategic goals.
Her leadership has been instrumental in the seamless execution of HRDC’s financial processes, fostering transparency, accountability, and efficiency. Under her stewardship, the Account Office has implemented systems that have enhanced operational excellence, contributing significantly to HRDC’s reputation as a leading professional and academic development hub.
Mrs. Oyenuga is passionate about knowledge sharing and mentorship. She has mentored numerous young professionals and students, equipping them with the skills and ethical grounding needed to excel in accounting and financial management.
Her dedication to fostering the next generation of financial leaders is evident in her unwavering support for capacity-building initiatives within and outside the University.
Married with two children, Mrs. Oyenuga masterfully balances her professional responsibilities with a fulfilling personal life.
