Dr Lateef Alani Odekunle is the current director and head of the HRDC.
A position he assumed since 2019. An accomplished professional with a proven track record spanning over three decades in financial management within the higher education sector.
He transitioned from a successful tenure as university bursar to assume the role of director of HRDC, designing and delivering capacity development and competence improvement programmes. He demonstrates adaptability and a commitment to professional growth. He possesses strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and a passion for empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potentials.

1. University Bursar (2011-2017):
a. Managed all aspects of financial operations for the university, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
b. Implemented efficient financial systems and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize financial performance.
