Ojapinwa, Taiwo Victor holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics of the University of Ado Ekiti (2004), M.Sc. Economics, University of Lagos (2007) and a Ph.D. from the same university (2014).
The title of the Ph.D thesis of Ojapinwa, Taiwo Victor is: ‘Macro-economic Impact of Remittance Flows on Financial Development and Economic Growth in sub-Saharan Africa’. His areas of interest are Development Financial Economics, Economic Theory and Macroeconomics.
He is a recipient of many awards, scholarships, and research grants including: Ecstasy Club Award (1995), African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Ph.D Grant (2013), Nigerian Economic Society Award (2015) and African Development Bank Scholarships (2017).
Ojapinwa, Taiwo Victor has participated in and presented over 15 papers at national and international conferences. He has over 50 publications in learned journals and books attended several seminars and workshops both locally and internationally.
He is member of the Nigeria Economic Society. He is currently serving at different capacities on many committees in the University of Lagos. Ojapinwa, Taiwo Victor loves researching, meeting people and giving back home.
He is happily married to Abimbola Foluso Ojapinwa and blessed with 4 children.
