Professor Oluwayemisi Obashoro-John

Oluwayemisi Obashoro-John is a Professor of Adult Education in the Department of Adult Education, University of Lagos.
She joined the services of the University of Lagos in 1994; rose to the rank of Professor in 2011 and continues to serve in various capacities in the University. She holds B.A. Ed (French) University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife; M. Ed (Adult Education) and Ph. D (Adult Education) University of Lagos.
Her areas of emphasis are Ageing Issues, Language Study and Programme Evaluation. She has contributed immensely to many local and foreign journals and books in the landscape of Adult Education
Professor Obashoro-John is a current member of several professional bodies: Fellow and Former President/Chairman-in-Council, Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN; 2014-2016); Fellow and Current President/Chairman-in-Council, Chartered Institute of Social Work Practitioners of Nigeria (C-ISOWN); Distinguished Fellow, Institute of Security, Nigeria (ISN); Member, Nigerian National Council for Adult Education (NNCAE) and Board Member, International Society for Comparative Adult Education (ISCAE); Ambassador, Senior Citizens association of Nigeria (SCAN).
She is a Minister of God and Executive Director, Oluwayemisi Obashoro Foundation (OLOF).
